Presnac- Baba’s Serbian Cheese Soufflé

As I add recipes from my recipe box, I oftentimes come across several recipes for the same dish. In this case, I have 4 recipes and all of them are just a little different. This is the recipe that my Great Grandmother – Baba Zorka used when she made Presnac for her family and friends.
Servings 12 People

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1 lb. Tillamook Cheesse grated
  • 2 cups Milk Boil and Cool
  • 3/4 cube butter melted in hot milk
  • 4 eggs separated
  • 2 1/2 Tbs. Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Beat egg yolk and cooled milk and butter. Add sugar
  • Add Bisquick until pancake consistency.
  • Add the grated cheese.
  • Beat egg whites and then fold into mixture.
  • Melt 1/2 cube of butter in a 13″ x 9″ pyrex dish.
  • Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
